At humham.com, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our refund policy is designed to be clear and fair, ensuring that your statutory rights under UK law are fully protected.

1. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a legal right to cancel your order and receive a full refund even if the goods are not faulty.

  • Cancellation Period: You have 14 days from the day after you receive your goods to inform us that you wish to cancel.

  • Returning the Goods: Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

  • Condition of Goods: The goods must be returned in a condition that allows them to be resold. While you can handle the goods to check them, you should not use them in a way that reduces their value. If the value of the goods is diminished by your handling, we may deduct an amount from your refund.

2. Faulty or Damaged Goods

Your rights for faulty or damaged goods are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If an item is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement.

  • Within 30 Days: If a fault is discovered within 30 days of purchase, you have the right to a full refund.

  • After 30 Days (but within 6 months): After 30 days, we have the right to offer a repair or replacement. If our attempt to repair or replace the item is unsuccessful, you can then claim a full or partial refund.

  • After 6 Months: After 6 months, you must be able to prove that the fault was present at the time of delivery.

3. How to Initiate a Return or Refund

To request a refund or return an item, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at contact@humham.com with your order number and a brief description of the reason for your return. For faulty items, please include photographs or videos of the issue.

  2. Wait for Confirmation: We will provide you with a return authorization and instructions on how to send the item back to us.

  3. Return the Item: Securely package the item and send it to the address provided in our return instructions. Please retain proof of postage.

4. Refund Process

  • Refund Timeline: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund without undue delay. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of our receipt of the goods or your evidence of having sent them back (whichever is earlier).

  • Refund Method: All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

  • Shipping Costs: For non-faulty returns, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. For faulty items, we will refund the cost of standard return postage.

5. Non-Refundable Items

Please note that certain items cannot be returned due to their nature. These include:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers)

  • Personalized or custom-made items

  • Sealed goods that have been unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons.

  • Digital products or software that has been downloaded or unsealed.
